From the catacombs of the ancient order, comes the Bastion Shoto. This elegant weapon is an instrument of sublime destruction, suited for the hands of a worthy master.
The hilt is precision machined on a multi-axis CNC lathe and is finished and assembled by hand in the USA with tireless care given to every detail of its construction, this saber is nothing short of a work of art.
With a length of 8.25in the Bastion Shoto was designed as the perfect compliment to the full sized Bastion saber. Our Shoto sabers feature the same brightness and durability as our full sized sabers but are shorter for smaller hands or a one handed grip. This saber comes with an 18" blade.
In Japanese "shoto" means short sword.
Samurai in feudal Japan wore a set of swords called a Daisho comprised of a "shoto" short sword and "daito" long sword. They were not alone in this practice, from the bronze age to the modern era soldiers of war have carried a primary weapon and a sidearm, now you can too.
